  4. The Valley of the Three Ponds – the Katowice park looks especially beautiful in autumn. There is no shortage of cycling and running paths here. The park is only half an hour’s walk from the city center.

Katowice – where to eat?

  1. Złoty Osioł – a great bar with a wide selection of vegan dishes. You can also choose soup, dessert or an unlimited salad bar. Additionally, Złoty Osioł offers free tap water, which unfortunately is still not standard in Polish restaurants.
  2. Kafej – probably one of the best cafes, where they serve delicious coffee accompanied by wonderful baked bagels. Be sure to take a break there while exploring the city.
  3. Moodro Resto – in this place you will find both popular dishes and those that can be eaten in a traditional Silesian home. Schnitzels, cutlets, roulades. Be sure to visit this place while visiting the Katowice market square.

It is worth starting your visit to Silesia from beautiful Katowice. The city has been brilliantly revitalized, and today artistic life flourishes in places that once mined coal.
