Holidays in sunny Rimini

Before we knew it, half of the holidays were already behind us. If you are a fan of delicious Italian cuisine, love sunny beaches and charming old towns, and at the same time care about your budget, it is worth considering a bus trip to Rimini. San Marino is only 1.5 hours away, so you can sunbathe on the beach and see one of the smallest sovereign countries in Europe. Rimini is a famous holiday resort with a several-kilometer-long beach, so beautiful and wide that it seems like it never ends. Who wouldn’t like to relax in such a place, sunbathing in the Italian sun? And when we get tired of lying down, we can explore the beautiful old town. You can also easily get to Rimini by bus, and the journey from Wrocław will take us just under 20 hours! How to plan a bus holiday in Rimini?

Now it’s possible, thanks to the Sindbad company, which offers trips to Italy twice a week. When you book via bilety.pl, you are guaranteed the cheapest price for these connections. How did we spend our great Italian vacation? We invite you to our report from Rimini, where we will share several ways to spend your free time.

Bus tickets to Rimini

Sindbad bus tickets are, of course, available on our bilety.pl platform. Sindbad leaves for Italy on both Wednesday and Saturday, but if we pay attention to the prices – Wednesday is PLN 50 cheaper. It is worth starting your vacation on this day. The bus leaves Wrocław at 21:10:

  1. Wrocław (Dw. Autobusowy ul. Sucha 1) departure time 21:10 – arrival 16:45 Rimini (Piazzale adiacente via Fada) – travel time 19.5h – price PLN 350 – Book now!

Rimini – Wrocław by bus

Returns from Italy to Poland take place on Mondays and Saturdays. Monday is also slightly cheaper here. So we can choose either a short weekend or a longer holiday.

  1. Rimini (Piazzale adiacente via Fada) departure time 10:45 – arrival 6;15 Wrocław (Dw. Autobusowy ul. Sucha 1) – travel time 19.5h – price PLN 385 – Book now!

We will pay PLN 735 for a round-trip ticket to Rimini and this is a price that will not change even if we buy the ticket at the last minute. This is a big advantage, unlike other carriers and also unlike airlines whose prices depend on the number of seats and time until departure. In this case, even if we plan our vacation last minute, we have a guarantee of this price. However, you can always use our ticket.pl search engine and check which carrier currently offers the cheapest tickets. Regardless of how long you want to stay in Rimini, this part of Italy has plenty of places and attractions in the area that will surely stay in your memory for a long time. It is worth taking a train to San Marino or the famous Bologna – it takes only 1.5 hours and tickets cost about 9 euros.

Accommodation

One of the most famous facilities is the Grand Hotel Rimini, which was one of the first hotels on the beach. He also became famous thanks to Fellini’s film. However, we only recommend seeing this facility, as accommodation there costs at least several thousand zlotys per night. In Rimini, we can find a lot of hotels at affordable prices, where food is included in the price, proximity to the beach – everything that is most important during your vacation. A budget option is Hotel Zurigo, where a night will cost about 35 euros per person.

Rimini – what to see?

  1. Great beaches – as we mentioned earlier, Rimini is famous for its kilometers-long sandy beaches. You need to spend a few days charging your batteries and get the necessary dose of vitamin D.
  2. The Old Town – beautifully preserved Renaissance monuments. Take a walk along the stone Tiberius Bridge, which has looked the same for twenty centuries, and drink coffee in the main square, Piazza Cavona.
  3. Federico Fellini Museum – the famous Italian director lived in Rimini for the first 19 years of his life and this city was the inspiration for many of his works. A must-see for cinema fans.
  4. Bologna – while in Rimini, it is worth taking the opportunity to take a train to Bologna. The cost of such a ticket is 9.5 euros and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. It’s hard to count the attractions this city has to offer.
  5. San Marino – the proximity of one of the smallest countries in the world is tempting. From Rimini we can get there in half an hour by car.

Rimini – where to eat?

  1. Taverna il Trabucco – affordable prices for a beach restaurant. The restaurant specializes primarily in seafood and fish dishes.
  2. La Piada del Centro – supposedly the best piadina in the city. It is a wheat cake typical of this region with various fillings (meat, spinach, mozzarella, etc.)
  3. Carnaby Club – Rimini is known for its parties and nightlife, so our recommendations include a place where you can go out for a drink in the evening. The club has been operating for almost 60 years.
