Of the three cities in the Tri-City, Gdynia is the one most often overlooked by tourists. It lacks the medieval monuments of Gdańsk, as well as the resort glamour of Sopot. And yet Gdynia can surprise – modern, full of charm, with a maritime soul and an incredible history. It is one of the greatest successes of the Second Polish Republic – from a small fishing village it transformed into a modern port of global importance.
