It’s Łódź, but the best way to get there is by land, or even better – by bus. Not only is the name of this city special, but the entire city has a unique character. Have you avoided Łódź so far, thinking that it’s just an old village that grew thanks to factories? That’s only part of the truth.
We encourage you to visit Łódź – a city where you will discover former factories and workers’ estates, which until recently were the industrial centre of the country. Different cultures and religions lived here side by side, and traditions and rituals intertwined. Łódź has a fascinating, although relatively short history, which could serve as a film script.

- Famuły – the buildings in Księży Młyn perfectly reflect the character of old Łódź as a workers’ city. They were built as apartments for employees of the Scheibler factory.
