Cheap accommodation in Częstochowa

Here are our suggestions:
Kamienna Apartments – for PLN 120 per person/night, you get a private apartment with a kitchenette, just a short walk from the city center.
Częstochowa Guest Rooms – its proximity to the city center and the price (PLN 80 per person/night) are the main advantages of this place. The kitchen and bathrooms are shared, but very clean and comfortable.

Częstochowa – what to see?

  1. Olsztyn Castle – although it’s outside the city, you can easily reach it by public transport. The castle is located on the “Eagle’s Nests Trail,” which is another reason why it’s worth visiting.
  2. Match Museum – the Częstochowa Match Industry Plant operated here, and when it closed, the building became a museum and everything remained exactly as it was on that day – we can still find matches and boxes on the devices.
  3. Iron Ore Mining Museum – the exhibition is located underground and only imitates the surrounding ore mines, but it is very interestingly organized.
  4. Raków Częstochowa – a football club that has been at the forefront for several years now and also competes internationally. This is a great opportunity to visit the stadium and see the league’s best players in action.
  5. The Jewish Cemetery – one of the largest cemeteries in Poland. The atmosphere of this place is incredibly mystical – fallen tombstones entwined in ivy. It’s also worth learning a bit about this community at the Częstochowa Jewish Museum.

Częstochowa – where to eat?

  1. Czenstochovia – is a must-see for any lover of good food and delicious regional beer. Be sure to check out the beer spa!
  2. Bar U Basi – there are few places left where you can enjoy authentic dishes like Mom’s. Bar U Basi is such a place, and the owner takes great care to ensure its uniqueness.
  3. Brunch Square – we admit – we were drawn to the restaurant by the great rating on Google, but we were not disappointed and we hope that you will also enjoy a delicious meal here.
